The biggest thing though is that even at 1600 most PC's do not include all the standard hardware that you get in a Mac.

Finalcut, the GameStop copy may say "PC" but Blizzard's games are playable on both Mac and PC using the same disc. Even on GameStop if you open up the System Requirements, under OS it says "Windows / Mac."
That being said, the code that GameStop is usable for both PCs and Macs. The code activates the game in your Battle.net account, from there you can either download the PC installer or the Mac installer. I'm downloading the Mac installer right now (I got the code about 1.5 hours ago but I was in the middle of a final) and it says it will take about 70 minutes to complete (big file...).
Excited to play, even if it is a little glitchy at first I've been waiting for this game for a LONG time, wish I would've known I could've entered the beta before now. I have the newest Core i7 15" MBP so it'll be interesting to see how it handles that hardware, it should be plenty capable.ahh thanks for the clarifications

He's better than the McCain would have been in most things, but on a whole he gives in to the Republicans way too much. He passed their healthcare plan instead of one that would actually work, kept Guantanamo open, and as far as "National Security" goes he's about the same as Bush. So basically, he was the best of the two choices, but still not very good.

1. i5 should be plenty for you. The extra money is better spent on 8GB of RAM and/or SSD from aftermarket.
2. Intel HD 3000 is about twice as fast as the 9400M so if 9400M was enough for you, then you shouldn't have any issues with the Intel IGP.
3. Dell U2410 and HP ZR24w for instance. Both use IPS panels and have resolution of 1920x1200.
4. IMO, no.
5. DisplayPort is more common in monitors but it just requires a cheap adapter to work with mDP.

Backlit keyboard would take it to another level. Theres just something very awesome about the backlit keyboards. I dont need to look at the keys to type, I just like the esthetics of it all. I would also like to see current gen processors in a current gen model. The last thing that I could ask for would be edge to edge display with zero bezel around the display and trim up around the keyboard. Thats all extra bulk as far as Im concerned.

I really hope T-Mobile isn't chosen...I had them for a year and a half and what horrible customer service. Not to mention that their coverage in Palm Springs, CA is horrible. Apple should go with Verizon, I did go with AT&T myself, but Verizon is rated highest of all the carriers for customer satisfaction and coverage.
I've been with T-mobile since the 1st sidekick and am still with them because of their customer service. They have the best CS IMO

Well the reason for that is because Apple was waiting for the Xeon "Woodcrest" processors to put into the Mac Pro. A Core Duo in a Mac Pro...I don't think so.

I basically stuck a card on the counter and the game made some boxes appear on my counter. It then started doing things like making the counter look like it was warping and then made a dragon pop out which I was supposed to kill. I was surprised how well the gyroscope works - much better than the iPhone's. I also thought Face Raiders would be dumb and it was but it was also kinda fun, watching my kitchen wall explode into fragments.

If you want just the email account then yes, .Mac is not worth it. That's the point. .Mac is more than email, and if you want an email address, get Gmail and hook it up into Mail.app....

I feel sick when I have to tell someone how much it costs. I mean they say .Mac syncing is included! GMail is free too. iWeb provides little bandwidth, and the whole this is wrapped-up with a tiny storage package. And I don't think the solution is for Apple to give us more storage. The death of the dollar/US economy, not the death of Bin Laden, will end our ongoing wars, whether those wars be abstract wars "on terror," or actual, needless invasions halfway around the world.

Shame people had to spoil it but xD It was fun while it lasted :P Did Gareth fully install Leopard on his MBP?
Yeah, completed without a hitch. All in all took 20-25 minutes which I thought was rather impressive! I think I'm finally finished with getting Leopard on my Mac Pro and getting everything nice and dandy. Installing it on the iBook took *forever* but I was doing an upgrade on that one.
