Please pardon me for my ignorance but why is that every admin fix will work with money in this country?
Does this mean we have to pay money to fix something in the system that will be useful to this country (eg: Senetors take the money and introduce the bills. Do you guys think it is equvalent to Bribe in other countries?)

I signed a bond of 10G for getting a hardcopy of this letter mailed out by June 29th from my company's NJ office. This is initial evidence that you have FUTURE job offer and without it the 485 will be rejected.
If someone is lucky let they be - Do NOT make this mistake of not sending this letter in ORIGINAL.

I spoke to the lawyer about IOs at POE calling the employers whether the H1bs can be replaced by citizens. His explanation made sense and this calling business looks suspicious.
As he said, we do not prove anywhere in H1b process that we are not going to replace citizens. we do prove that the job will be paid the prevailing wage at the location. So I dont know how the IO can call and ask that unless they have other strong reason to do so. I do here such news but not from any one I know and travelled.

The point we are trying to make is, that we want to make the GC process ENTIRELY simple. There are various stages at which the applications are getting stuck right now. Labour, 485, Name check etc.
Just to confirm, i am not comparing anything to anything. Even the plight of the spouses not being able to work and kids aging out is equally distressing to the person on whom it has befallen upon. Just like you feel despair with the Name check we all feel an equal amount if not more despair at our various issues. When i said "sub issue" i mean it is ONE of the many issues that is obstructing the path to the Green card.
We appreciate that you brought the name check clearance to our notice as some of us were not aware that it was a problem. But please, for everyone's sake, do not compare 2 situations. We are all in this mess together and together we shall rise from it. For that we need to be united. :)

Just so that you know, I am caught in the name check too. This is a bigger blackhole than even labor processing. Becos atleast labor processing your Immigration Attorneys can write to BECs (You may or may not get a reply, that is a different issue, but atleast it is allowed). In case of FBI name check, you just cant do much. It is a much dreaded process in the whole game and needs to get enough focus. Eventually, it is going to be everybodys problem.

This to me would be detrimental to singhsa3's efforts and thus I wrote let's not bicker/argue/wash dirty linen about whether we agree with singhsa3's idea or not.

A lot of people act as if their God / Gods need their protection. My friends think about that before getting upset about these issues. Do the Gods really need your protection? or is it just your ego thats being hurt? Would Ganesha (in this case) be hurt by being on the beer bottle? I feel your pain, But, what was the point of firing same requests to USCIS from thousands of users? Wont that cause more delay for some other FOIA requests? FOIA requests are required to be responded by law, so you are guaranteed a reply even if only 1 user files the request.
I got a reply from USCIS saying that they can process the request sorted by priority date and country of birth of the applicant.

this does happen- for people in the US already. larger companies find it convenient to simply send the employee out for asactly 365 days and then transfer them back. and Viola! you are in the front of the line!

I am not debating it whether it can happen at all or not, whether its right or wrong. I should have worded it better in my previous post. It can happen, but not many who are already in the US do this. If it were equally rampant like the labor substitution, EB1 cannot be current for long time. While some one can go this route, they are paying a significant amount of Salary (possibly Spouse's salary as well), Family upheaval for an year and many other things as a premium. Not all people have the chance to do so and can afford to do so, if they have a chance. We are not seeing any clogs in EB1. Are we?

In Singapore, the ministry of manpower (MOM) issues a credit card size Employment Pass (EP) card/Work permit. This card enables every one NOT to carry passport at all times.
For citizen/permanent residents in Singapore, the government issues pink and blue cards called SING PASS. Which enables them to prove their identity.
We need some kind of cards in USA too, which show our identity and work status. Why don't we make this part of IV agenda. This would enables us to have some peace of mind.
We know, we cannot carry passport at all times (work, outing, groceries etc).
We must do some thing with this too.

What IV will do different than what AILF is planning to do? They are not asking for any money for participating in litigation. What will happen if you don't reach your target of $5000 before you do something? (may be lawsuit).
Nobody takes money for filing lawsuit in any case, atleast not in advance.
No offense, but i thought you need to be little bit more clear in what exactly you plan to do with $5000.
