Lou Dobbs is playing to the galleries. The galleries are filled with people like him who are waiting for the sound bytes. The frenzy will keep increasing until it reaches crescendo like the NAZI campaigns. So we need to direct part of our media campaign towards stopping these lies. The only way we will get out coverage is to go out against the big ones and make the noise. We need to get all the ravings of Lou against the legal immigrants every sound byte , every word he uttered against legal tax paying wannabe immigrants( no nationality restrictions). If all of us unite and make a move against him it will make CNN see reason or Lou to talk facts and not the fiction he talks about us.

Trust me. You would see an approval this month. Most of the people who got an LUD on their approved I-140 on 07/13/2008 are seeing their GC approved. Only uncertain people are those who hasn't seen any such light.

Hi I just talked to customer service representative, she said that It is either due to a security check or Department of Homeland security trying out different exercises before approving the case. So Please wait for some more time and give a check. when the applications went to security check, the similar kind of response you will get. If your case falls under a specific section we will put the section in that.
If you need more information or you are worried please take an info pass otherwise please check back with us later.
The only thing that came to my mind is regarding verification of degree certificates or experience letters mentioned on your Biographic Information form. Go to Local office and check.

India was demanding latest fighter jets (F-22) but US can offer only old version F-16,F-18 to India. Basic reason for US denial to latest technology because of India -US relation and their status .US only offers new technology to its close allys. I think it was prudent move from India�s part to get latest and greatest technology. To get these new technologies US congress needs to pass law and define India as close ally.

1) Calling congressman/senator and asking them to help your case.
2) Writing to Ombudsman.
Since no one in America does much of anything in December I am planning to start trying with congressmans office in mid Jan. I have to do something and try - I cant keep sitting hands folded. Or they will say quota is over before we know it - remember ROW is at 2005.
That's true that Dates becoming current does not necessarily ensure that someone will work on your case. Writing to Ombudsman might help (but not necessarily). There is a simple form, Form DHS-7001, fill it and send to Ombudsman (address to send to is on the form - you can search for the form). They forward it to your Service Center for an answer within 45 days. If your dates remain current for this 45 day period, there is a chance that your Service Center will look at your case. If not, Service Center may just wait until your dates are retrogressed again and send a standard reply that you are not current.
Taking an InfoPass might initiate some action too.

This does raise some valid questions... For instance, what about children from, say, a previous marriage? What about children when the couples are not married? Do the children qualify under FB visa?
I realize this has nothing to do with EB immigration, and that such cases are relatively uncommon. But still, if someone with expertise and experience can comment, it would add to the knowledge base, and who knows, someone might find it extremely useful.

Brush up your General Knowledge, look around you. If you see, there is a priority date on my post - Infy does not sponspor GC's, atleast not with those priority dates in EB2 category. Can you deduce what that implies?
You are thinking only about the small percentage of "lost Indians" (including me) who are in this mess - if you really think about your motherland (and mine), help guys like NRN get a good infrastructure in place. By ridiculing him, what are you trying to say? had you been in his place, what would you have done? Settle here immediately, and launch a daily "freighter" to bring all Indians to US?
